Help TAILS raise $2,000 and unlock an additional $2,000 from United Spay Alliance! As of 2 November, we currently have 23 cats covered out of 57, and we need just 34 more to meet our goal.
TAILS has received a special challenge grant from United Spay Alliance to support an important part of our mission: spaying and neutering feral cats.
Here's the challenge: TAILS must raise $2,000 in new donations, and United Spay Alliance will provide an additional $2,000 in matching challenge funds.
That means we have the opportunity to raise $4,000 specifically to help spay and neuter feral cats!
Why Feral Cats?
Feral cats live outdoors and are often part of established community colonies. Without spay/neuter intervention, they continue to reproduce, contributing to the growing population of homeless cats and kittens. Spaying and neutering feral cats is one of the most effective ways to prevent unwanted litters, reduce overpopulation, and improve the lives of cats living outdoors.
This challenge is specifically about getting those cats spayed and neutered — helping address the problem at its source.
Help Us Meet the Challenge
Our goal is to raise $2,000 by 17 November 2026 to receive the additional $2,000 from United Spay Alliance.

Celebrating 25 Years of Helping Cats
This year marks TAILS' 25th Anniversary! Our all-volunteer organization makes a difference every year:
Approximately 650 cats spayed and neutered annually.
Approximately 260 abandoned cats and kittens rescued from the streets and placed in loving homes annually, following appropriate veterinary care.
TAILS is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and our work is made possible by our dedicated volunteers and generous supporters.
Please help us meet the 57 Cat Challenge. Your donation will help TAILS reach its $2,000 fundraising goal and raise another $2,000 from United Spay Alliance.
Thank you for helping us make a difference for feral cats and for celebrating 25 years of TAILS!
