Making strides to end pet overpopulation… one spay at a time.

The Alliance in Limiting Strays (TAILS) is an all-volunteer, non-profit charitable organization based in Westport, Connecticut. Starting in 2001, we support spay/neuter of cats and dogs locally and beyond, concentrating in our home area of Fairfield County.

With no paid staff, we are able to put every dollar donated directly to saving animals! TAILS provides assistance to our community with spay/neuter funding and services, facilitated by a host of multi-faceted volunteers.

Our volunteer Board of Directors each average over 15 years animal welfare experience, bringing diverse skill sets to support all aspects of the TAILS mission.
