***FRIGID TEMPERATURE ALERT***
Please make sure your pets are all inside - be diligent! - it truly is life and death.
UPDATE ON OUR ACTIVITIES: Since the last week in December 2017 when the temperature plummeted, TAILS has been working tirelessly to help save outdoor kitties. We have taken in a lot of cats/kittens and have been making outdoor community/feral cat huts to keep those cats living outside safe and protected from the elements.
***If you can donate to help us we would GREATLY appreciate it***
Here are 4 of the 34 we took in - these guys were left behind in Southport after a tenant moved out. New owner took the picture of the cats trying to paw their way back in for warmth/food and contacted us in a panic. TAILS has them now and they are safe & sound, have been to the vet (neuter/shots/SNAP/Microchipped) and will be placed in LOVING, FORVER homes. The other 30 cats have similar heartbreak stories. Please help if you can.
What we have done and are continuing to do and what YOU can do to help outside cats:

Help TAILS Save LOCAL Dogs & Cats!
Your Donation will save FAIRFIELD COUNTY animals!
Each year thousands of animals in our State are "put down" because there simply are not enough homes for all of them. TAILS aims to stop this horrible cycle by putting an end to the overwhelming flow of animals into the shelter system -
by SPAYING AND NEUTERING!
For every $46 donated - a feral (outdoor) cat can be spayed/neutered and given vaccinations. For every $75 we can have a domestic cat spayed/neutered with vaccinations. And for every $110 we can get a dog spayed/neutered with vaccinations. Each spay/neuter represents between 4-7 kittens or puppies saved -- in just the first year alone.
It's truly the gift that keeps on giving.
